The Castle At Skylands Manor is a stunning historical site with beautiful architecture. The gardens and interior decor are charmingly ornate, making it a delightful experience for seniors like me who value elegance and history. Truly a hidden gem!

Better parking options for senior guests would help.

    unique atmosphere
    beautiful grounds
    distant parking

We had an amazing time staying in the castle with our group of friends! The unique atmosphere made it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. We visited the beautiful NJ State Botanical Gardens and enjoyed some hiking in the Ramapo Mountains. Just be aware that the wifi works better downstairs, and you might notice some older plumbing.

One downside was the bit of a trek to park the car, as Lot A is quite a walk from the entrance, especially after a long day out. Just keep that in mind if you're bringing up bags.

    Charming experience with beautiful gardens

I had a delightful stay in a Junior Suite that truly captured the essence of a historic castle. The innkeeper was incredibly accommodating, making our visit feel special, and the breakfast she served was fresh and delicious. The gardens were serene and provided a perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway, though I found the lack of modern WiFi connectivity a bit inconvenient.

Highly recommend for a wedding party

The castle was stunning for the wedding. The bridal suite was perfect for the bride and her maids to get ready, really added to the day.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but worth it for a memorable stay.

    stunning glass

It was just a suitable option for a getaway in Ringwood with the best value for money ratio. The stained glass windows and enchanting hallways gave it a magical vibe that I won’t forget. Make sure to ask for a tour from the innkeeper for a more personal experience.

    Charming Stay with Enchanting Surroundings

Staying for a night, I loved the enchanting atmosphere filled with historic charm. The garden was lovely, even in winter. Rich went out of his way to ensure my comfort, offering a room upgrade due to the cold. Keep an eye on seasonal activities—they're a must! Don't miss breakfast.
